Yes, I finally got my braces off. I had my second stage of braces on for 4 years and the expectancie was 2 years (never believe what the othodontist says). I was waiting for this moment for a long time. It definitely feel different and a little slimy. But I now have a retainer and that feels even more different, because I have something at top of my mouth. Since I have four missing teeth, two in the front, I hope to get implants when I am 18:)

Sweet set of teeth! I didn't even recognize you at first, thought I stumbled on some supermodel's blog or something. Gisele Bundchen, is that you? Now the guys should be clambering for you. You can keep them at bay with a combination of a fly swatter and a barrel of boiling oil. You can use the fly swatter on the ones with whom you would like to flirt (Oh, did I injure you with my dainty swat? Come here, love, and let me tend to the wound...) and you could use the boiling oil on the scrubs whom you despise (Stay back, you vermin! I shall cover the whole lot of you with this scathing muck...). On a separate note, I noticed that you went out on a first date (Did you use the fly swatter on him?). How lovely. I wish my first date could have been at Silver Falls. I don't even remember my first date. Must have been quite memorable (she probably used boiling oil). So, did you impress him by calmly jumping off the cliff, doing a twisting 2 1/2 somersault in the Pike Position with a double pirouette all while pointing your toes? Well, if you didn't, there's always next time. Step up your game, Tenley; come on, now.
